Reapplying to UCAS as a former student, from home, is a real process. It has a shape. This page is the shape — the sequence, what a registered centre actually does, and which deadline applies to you.
Educo London is a registered UCAS centre (centre number 21393). We have submitted applications with predicted grades and references for private candidates this cycle.
The sequence
One year, not two.

Now — autumn 2026
You take two invigilated mocks per subject with us, sat 1:1 online. Each one is marked with written feedback so the grade is defensible, not sentimental.

By your UCAS deadline
We issue predicted grades and write your UCAS reference as a registered centre, and submit the application on your behalf.
- 03
Spring 2027
Universities respond with conditional offers based on the predictions and the reference.
- 04
Summer 2027
You sit your actual A-Levels at a local exam centre as a private candidate. The grades that count are these.

September 2027
You start university on a course you were previously written off from.

What that actually means.
Predicted grades that hold up
A predicted grade is only as good as what stands behind it. We issue predictions from invigilated mock evidence we've marked ourselves — the same standard admissions readers expect from a school.
A UCAS reference in the system
As a registered centre we submit your reference through UCAS directly, under a centre number an admissions reader recognises. A reference sent from a personal email address is not a UCAS reference.
We assess before we reference
We only issue a reference for students we have assessed. A reference from a centre that hasn't seen your work isn't worth having, and admissions readers know it.
Why your old school usually declines
Once you've left, schools have no basis to predict — you're no longer in their teaching set, and their reference load is already full of current students. It isn't personal. It's structural, and it's why centres like this exist.
The assessment
Two mocks per subject.
For each A-Level subject you're being predicted in, you sit two invigilated mocks with us — full past papers, timed, under exam conditions. Sat 1:1 online with an invigilator present the whole time.
Each paper is marked by an examiner familiar with the current specification, with written feedback on what pushed the grade up or down. Your predicted grade is the honest read of those two papers, not a number your school felt bad refusing.

One of two dates applies to you.
15 October 2026
October deadline
Medicine, dentistry, veterinary science, Oxford & Cambridge.
If you're applying for any of these, this is your deadline. The reference has to be in UCAS by mid-October, which means mocks in September.

All other courses.
Every other undergraduate course in the UK. Mocks September through November, application in before Christmas, decisions in the spring.
